All planting is now done by hand.
The first planting was done with machine. |

Generally I plant container grown stock
because the root system is well established and more compact
so it will fit deeply into the hole made with the planting
spud. |

| When harvest time arrives,
the trees are cut, |

....carried to the nearest
road, |

| ...shook to rid the tree of dead needles
and... |

...baled to make the trees easier to
handle and to seal in the moisture to keep them from drying
out. |

The trees are then hauled and kept
in the shade, out of the sun and away from the wind. This
process helps to keep the tree fresh and smelling good
for you to enjoy.
